I love Captain Malcolm Reynolds and the crew of the Serenity. Captain Kirk and Picard. Lt. Uhura. Mr. Spock, Scotty, Sulu and Chekhov and that beautiful ship, the Enterprise. Sure the dialogue is pretty unnatural and I’m sure it’s hard to do the whole green screen thing, but other actors have overcome that before, at least degrees better than Hayden did. I just find it hard to believe that there weren’t tens if not hundreds of actors who could have pulled this off better.
